Souvenir apparel programs for Lunenburg retailers

Drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, for the more than a thousand retail doors that reorder every season

Old Town Lunenburg was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 as the best surviving example of a planned British colonial settlement in North America, and the town is the home port of the Bluenose II, the replica of the schooner on the Canadian dime. Galleries and gift shops fill the two blocks of Montague Street above the harbour and the stretch of Bluenose Drive by the Fisheries Museum. There is no public visitor count, and most shops cut to limited hours from November to April.

What sells on Montague Street

The Bluenose, a dory, the coloured waterfront houses, the Academy on the hill and a lobster. Lunenburg's buyer walked here from a gallery, so the rack should be restrained: a schooner wordmark in embroidery on natural and heather tees from the colour card, and the coloured houses as a small left-chest mark. A dory design sells at the Fisheries Museum shop, and the harbour wind sells crewneck fleece through September.

Questions

What Lunenburg buyers ask

What is the minimum order for a Lunenburg shop?

Twelve pieces per design. A first program for a Lunenburg shop usually opens with a few designs on tees and adds fleece and caps once the season shows what sells.

How long does shipping to Lunenburg take?

About 6 business days by ground courier from Vancouver. Orders leave our Vancouver floor once the run is stitched, and reorders go out on the schedule your rep sets with you.

Can the designs say Lunenburg?

Yes. Every design in the catalogue is namedrop-ready: the artwork stays and the lettering becomes Lunenburg. Designs are drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, and namedrops are included with the program at no art charge.

How do reorders work?

Through your rep, sized to your season. Reorders run on a standing schedule from the Vancouver floor so a hot colour never leaves a hole in the wall.
