Gros Morne, Newfoundland and Labrador
Souvenir apparel programs for Gros Morne retailers
Drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, for the more than a thousand retail doors that reorder every season
Gros Morne National Park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987 for the exposed mantle rock of the Tablelands and its glacier-carved fjords. Parks Canada last reported a full count in fiscal 2019-20, at 238,071 visits, and the rebuilt Visitor Centre in Rocky Harbour reopened in May 2024. The two service villages, Rocky Harbour and Woody Point, hold the handful of craft and gift shops, and the boat tour, visitor centre and most services close from October to May.
What sells in Rocky Harbour
Moose, caribou, the orange rock of the Tablelands, the Western Brook Pond fjord, a humpback and the Lobster Cove Head lighthouse. A Gros Morne wordmark with the fjord walls is the design, and the moose, which outnumber people on this coast, is the tee. Our artists localize both to Rocky Harbour and Woody Point separately. The fjord boat tour is cold in August, and crewneck fleece and hoodies sell to people coming off it.

Getting stock to the west coast
Ground courier from Vancouver reaches Rocky Harbour in about 10 business days, the longest lane in the country. The season order ships in the first week of May to land for the June opening, and one July top-up carries August. Reorders go through your rep and are sized to sell through, because there is no second chance at a mid-season order here.

Questions
What Gros Morne buyers ask
What is the minimum order for a Gros Morne shop?
Twelve pieces per design. A first program for a Gros Morne shop usually opens with a few designs on tees and adds fleece and caps once the season shows what sells.
How long does shipping to Gros Morne take?
About 10 business days by ground courier from Vancouver. Orders leave our Vancouver floor once the run is stitched, and reorders go out on the schedule your rep sets with you.
Can the designs say Gros Morne?
Yes. Every design in the catalogue is namedrop-ready: the artwork stays and the lettering becomes Gros Morne. Designs are drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, and namedrops are included with the program at no art charge.
How do reorders work?
Through your rep, sized to your season. Reorders run on a standing schedule from the Vancouver floor so a hot colour never leaves a hole in the wall.
