One design, nineteen shops, three countries

Every catalogue has a design that carries the rest. Ours is Bridge Text Grizzly, design code BTGZ. Since January 2023 it has shipped 22,706 units on 168 orders to 19 wholesale accounts, and 14,557 of those units went out since January 2025. It is accelerating, not fading.

Where it is the top design

BTGZ is the number one design in Banff, where the three accounts there ran 8,081 units of it. It is number one in Victoria at 7,218 units. It is second in Vancouver behind a city design, and third in Anchorage. A mountain town, a harbour city, a west coast city and an Alaskan port all reorder the same bear.

Why it works

The bridge text is the reason. A curved band of lettering sits above the bear and takes the destination name, so the artwork stays constant and the words change. Nineteen shops are selling nineteen different tees that share one stitch file. The bear itself is drawn with mixed stitch directions, so fur, trees and sky read as three surfaces from across the shop.

The production side

11,286 stitches puts BTGZ in the 10,000 to 20,000 band, where 126 of our 266 recorded products sit. Five thread changes is the catalogue average. Two colourways keep it simple to stock: the shop picks the garment colour from the colour card and the thread recipe follows. Black, Navy and Sand are the three garments it runs on most.

What a buyer should take from this

If you carry one full-front design, this is the safe choice. If you already carry it, the July and October reorders are where the volume sits. The reorder calendar shows both peaks.
