Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Souvenir apparel programs for Prince Rupert retailers

Drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, for the more than a thousand retail doors that reorder every season

Prince Rupert is a port city of about 12,000 on Kaien Island and the Canadian stop for many Alaska-bound cruise itineraries. The cruise port handled 69,616 passengers on 42 calls in 2025, and Virgin Voyages and the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection were announced as new lines for 2026. Passengers walk from the Northland Terminal straight into Cow Bay, where gift shops, galleries and cafes cluster along Cow Bay Road.

What sells in Cow Bay

A cruise passenger has ninety minutes and one bag, and buys the design that says where they were. Our artists localize a Prince Rupert wordmark with the harbour and a humpback, and the Indigenous collection fits a town whose museum holds one of the larger Tsimshian collections on the coast. The Khutzeymateen grizzly sanctuary makes Bridge Text Grizzly a natural, and salmon and rain give you the two honest Prince Rupert jokes for a tee.

  • Totem and formline designs from the Indigenous collection
  • Rain-themed wordmark on crewneck fleece for the deck-side buyer

Getting stock in before the first call

Ground courier from Vancouver reaches Prince Rupert in about 2 business days. Cruise season runs May to September and volume swings hard with the ship schedule, so we plan the build against the published call list in March and ship in late April, with a July top-up sized to the August calls. Reorders go through your rep. Winter is quiet, and stock should be sold through by October.

Questions

What Prince Rupert buyers ask

What is the minimum order for a Prince Rupert shop?

Twelve pieces per design. A first program for a Prince Rupert shop usually opens with a few designs on tees and adds fleece and caps once the season shows what sells.

How long does shipping to Prince Rupert take?

About 2 business days by ground courier from Vancouver. Orders leave our Vancouver floor once the run is stitched, and reorders go out on the schedule your rep sets with you.

Can the designs say Prince Rupert?

Yes. Every design in the catalogue is namedrop-ready: the artwork stays and the lettering becomes Prince Rupert. Designs are drawn, digitized and stitched in Vancouver, and namedrops are included with the program at no art charge.

How do reorders work?

Through your rep, sized to your season. Reorders run on a standing schedule from the Vancouver floor so a hot colour never leaves a hole in the wall.
